Significant advancements are also being made in laboratory methods. On the one hand, new instruments have improved the speed and accuracy of standard blood tests. On the other hand, pathological methods have greatly improved in terms of quality and effectiveness. Pathology specialists continue to be our eyes and ears in diagnosing cancer. Furthermore, genetic laboratories can determine the biological structure of tumor samples or which drugs they are more sensitive to by examining them.
At Tansan Oncology, we utilize some of these methods in-house or within our facility, and others in collaboration with specialized laboratories and imaging centers. In many cases, we can determine the presence of cancer, its stage, and even its biological structure within 48-72 hours. This allows us to identify the most effective treatment plan for each patient's cancer, using chemotherapy drugs and/or biological drugs. Our expert nursing staff meticulously prepares the most suitable medications in a short time, under the direction of our specialist doctors and the supervision of the head nurse. The chemotherapy or biological drugs used in treatment are administered to patients under the supervision of specialist doctors using various methods, including perfusion pumps, ambulatory (portable) pumps, and others.
In determining these treatments, we aim to dynamically reflect the results of the latest developments in proteomics (the study of proteins, the products of genes that determine everything) in our treatment. We expect that the development of cancer treatment will continue to accelerate in the coming years and that new treatment avenues will open up.
Patients and their families become part of our large family from the moment they walk through the clinic's doors, and they always receive love, respect, and closeness from us. Our goal is to treat our patients with the best and most modern medicines, without causing them distress, whenever possible, and to heal them. In cases where medicine cannot yet cure them, we strive to help our patients live as long as possible, but above all, with a high quality of life. In doing so, we prioritize keeping the patient at home with their loved ones and providing outpatient treatment. We believe that the day when cancer will be a chronic disease is near.
