Meet our clinical team
He was born in Istanbul in 1959.
He completed his middle and high school education at Kadıköy Anatolian High School.
He graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1983.
After completing two years of mandatory service, he completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Medical Oncology Fellowship at Boston University Medical Centers in the United States. He passed the American Board of Internal Medicine exam in the 98th percentile.
From 1991 to 1995, he served as Director of the Chemotherapy Clinic and Senior Specialization Education Coordinator at Boston University. During these years, in addition to publishing scientific papers on various topics, he became the Oncology Specialist who treated the most patients at the Hospital.
He received the "Distinguished Physician Award (1991-1995)" from Boston University for his services to Boston University School of Medicine and Hospital.
Dr. Süalp Tansan came to Turkey in 1995 and established the Tansan Oncology Center, where the most advanced cancer treatment methods are applied.
Since 1995, the clinic has performed over 100,000 examinations and chemotherapy treatments and continues to operate under the name Özel Tansan Polikliniği.
